Newspaper records the events of everyday life, yet what is recorded is not necessarily what is remembered. As I work, I encounter fragments of news. Some are familiar, while others are no longer part of my memory. I soak, tear, and layer the newspaper by hand, transforming its printed information into physical traces of texture, thickness, and time.
